Who it is for: Senior product, UX, and system designers and decision-makers designing or governing human–AI systems

Our verdict: University-level system design and governance for human–AI interaction, rigorous but expensive.

Notes

Go to course

Designing Human–AI Systems from Cambridge Advance Online is a tutor-guided university course on how to design, deploy, and govern human–AI systems. Eight weeks covering HCI, function modelling, automation, mixed-initiative interfaces, interpretability, control, agency, governance, and evaluation.

Choose it when you need rigorous system design and governance depth at a senior level, with a university credential behind it. It’s expensive (£2,350) and systems-heavy rather than a craft UI patterns class.

Caveat: about 6 to 8 hours per week; confirm next cohort dates before enrolling.
