Elements of AI (Introduction to AI) is the free University of Helsinki / MinnaLearn course built for non-experts. It covers what AI is, what is possible and not possible, and how it shows up in work and society, with exercises, at your own pace, and no programming required.
Use it as the literacy floor before Catch Wisdom, Anthropic Fluency, or any paid AI UX cohort. Building AI is the optional follow-on if you want algorithms with light Python.
Caveat: this is not a UX or Figma course. It will not teach generative UI patterns, it will keep you from confusing demos with capability.
